Jump Arena Gateshead Case Study
The Customer
Jump Arena have recently opened their 4th trampoline park on May 26th in Gateshead.
The Challenge
Trampoline parks are a major growth industry in the UK with over 100 at the last count. Gateshead is Jump Arena’s fourth site.
The challenge for the team at All Right Now was to meet tight deadlines in order for the building to go live on schedule. The key stakeholders were:
- All Right Now
- Jump Arena Head Office
- Jump Arena Gateshead local management
- Railston Construction
The Solution
The solution comprised the following key components:
- 2 x panels of polished stainless steel and glass infill with a balustrade
- 2 x bi-directional mechanical gates
The ITAB bi-directional gate is a functional, entry-level gate which provides an adequate physical barrier for areas where security requirements are low. Part of the brief was to match the chrome on the mechanical gates with a polished stainless steel finish on the stainless steel posts holding the glass. Fixing the balustrade requires some tricky fixing on site as you can never be sure exactly where to fit the holes until you have installed the stainless steel posts.
As is often the case with projects, one of the glass panels arrived badly scratched from the suppliers. It was returned and redelivered promptly the next and ARN engineers returned to complete the job the next day thus ensuring the site could be handed over to the client and go live on time.
“Jump Arena Gateshead is the second project I have worked with All Right Now on. I have found them professional to deal with and appreciate their attention to detail and ability to work to tight schedules. We will be using them again on future projects.” Jordan Daley, Railston, Project Manager
